Along with the the heights of the water rides, the main cause or factor that was regarded to be a threat to the health of the people was the water quality of the park. As stated, the main source of the park's water was a pond located nearby, whose quality was totally deteriorated and contaminated with harmful elements. Several people including from children to adults makes frequent visits to the park to take its pleasure, basically in these summer days. But unfortunately, people not being aware of anything became victims towards certain diseases like skin disorders resulting from the contaminated water of the park.

One of such victim was a lady hailing from Barpeta, Assam. Despite of the submission of complaints against the park, to the District Authorities, from a month before, no actions was taken to stop such hazardous effects.

On 19 July (Thursday), a propet enquiry about the park's maintenance was done by the Deputy Commissioner Virender Mittal, of Kamrup. The reports regarding the quality of the park's water was found to be negative, contaminated with toxic substances. On 24 July (Tuesday), under the 'Disaster Management Act 2005', Virender Mittal, along with the order of the District Administration, has directed to stop the operation of the Accoland park, for specific period of time until any further notice. The park is been sealed for a certain duration of time.

It may be stated that such hazardous problems wouldn't have arise, if the authority of the park bothered to check the water quality to some extent. The development of infrastructure of the park is growing to an ultimate extent, but who knew that the main cause for the Guwahati Accoland park temporarily closed and sealed by administration, Assam would be its water which is the main centre of attraction of the park that resulted threat to the health of the people.

There are lot of expectations by the people towards the administration, so that the prevailing problem of the park vanishes permanently in no time, and the park becomes a source of pleasure and enjoyment again soon.
